Rich is a senior executive with 45 years of successful experience at four companies.  One half of his career was in healthcare (services), and the other half was in consumer-packaged goods (products).  Those companies he was associated with were LabCorp, GlaxoSmithKline (SmithKline Beecham), Bayer (Miles) and Altria (General Foods).  In healthcare, Rich worked primarily on a domestic basis.  He did, however, manage a few international businesses.

During his time at LabCorp, Rich spent seven years as Chief Operating Officer where he played a key role in LabCorp’s ascent to “the” pre-eminent position in a $40 Billion industry.  That status emanated from superb performance in varying financial metrics including market cap, EPS, EBITDA, profit margin, cash flow, revenue, bad debt and DSO.

Prior to Lab Corp, Rich had three key roles at GlaxoSmithKline including Senior VP Operations.  Rich earned a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Maryland (1962).
