Ted has 30 years of experience in the healthcare and medical diagnostics industries, primarily with Bayer AG, a global producer of chemicals and healthcare products. Most recently he was Director of Manufacturing for Instruments and Reagents at Bayer's Mishawaka, Indiana facility.

Ted started his career in research at Miles Laboratories, which was subsequently acquired by Bayer AG, and transitioned to a liaison position involving technology transfer between product development and manufacturing during a period of rapid growth and expansion of urine chemistry and diabetes management products. He represented manufacturing on numerous new product introductions and was a member of technical review boards responsible for review of new products prior to release for sale.

Ted held positions of increasing responsibility within the manufacturing organization during periods of expansion, acquisitions and site consolidations. He has experience in international manufacturing, site-to-site technology transfer, capital planning and strategic planning. Ted has a B.A. in Biology from Goshen College with a concentration in Microbiology.
