Kerry has over twenty-seven years of experience in the successful development and commercialization of medical devices, primarily with Bayer AG (now Siemens). Directly involved as Project Manager, he led several urine chemistry products to successful launches. Prior to joining HandyLab, he was President of KGW Enterprises, Inc. a company that develops and manufactures products for the rapid test, immunochromographic medical and agricultural market. Kerry started his career in product engineering at CTS, Inc. in Berne, Indiana and subsequently moved to their corporate office in Elkhart, IN for a position as research engineer. Seizing an opportunity for management, he moved to Crawfordsville IN and became Engineering Manager for Crawford Industries, a custom plastic extruder. Kerry joined Bayer a few years later as a Project Manager in the urinalysis group and led the development of the Clinitek® Auto 2000, Clinitek 200+, Clinitek 100, and the Clinitek Atlas. His last few years at Bayer were as Product Manager in marketing and he was responsible for the domestic and international launch of the Clinitek 50 and Clinitek 500. Kerry received his BA in physics at Wabash College and his BS in Metallurgical Engineering from Columbia University. He is an avid soccer enthusiast and has played and coached the game for over 35 years most recently at the high school level. |
